Neurocrine Biosciences ( NBIX ) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Soleno Therapeutics ( SLNO ) for $53 per share in cash, or a total of $2.9 billion, the companies said. Soleno Therapeutics ( SLNO ) stock was up more than 32% and Neurocrine Biosciences ( NBIX ) shares were down 2% premarket.

Denali Therapeutics ( DNLI ) said it regained full control of its investigational frontotemporal dementia therapy after Takeda Pharmaceutical ( TAK ) terminated their joint development agreement. Takeda Pharmaceutical ( TAK ) shares were down more than 2% premarket.

ImmunityBio ( IBRX ) shares were 0.4% higher after the company said it has removed a podcast about its bladder cancer drug Anktiva from its website and asked third-party hosting platforms to remove the podcast to address the US Food and Drug Administration's concerns.
