03:52 PM EDT, 03/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Health care stocks rose late Monday afternoon, with the NYSE Health Care Index increasing 0.4% and the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) up 0.3%.

The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) climbed 0.7%.

In corporate news, Insmed ( INSM ) is seeing growing physician adoption of its Brinsupri therapy, with new survey data indicating expanding use and rising confidence in the drug's long-term potential, Morgan Stanley said in a report. The firm upgraded Insmed ( INSM ) to overweight from equal-weight and raised the price target to $212 from $166. Insmed ( INSM ) shares jumped past 6%.

Eli Lilly ( LLY ) is demanding that the UK must agree to regular rises in National Health Service drug prices and phase out a multibillion-pound rebate program if the US drugmaker is to resume investment in Britain, the Financial Times reported, citing a company executive. Lilly shares rose 1%.

Johnson & Johnson's ( JNJ ) Vision segment targets to deliver mid-to-high single digit growth in the long term, with catalysts like upcoming product launches, contact lens market recovery, and planned increase in capital allocation, RBC Capital Markets said in a note. RBC kept its outperform rating on Johnson & Johnson ( JNJ ), with a $255 price target. Johnson & Johnson ( JNJ ) shares added 0.8%.

United Therapeutics ( UTHR ) shares surged past 12% after it said Monday a pivotal study of nebulized Tyvaso in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis met the primary efficacy endpoint, increased forced vital capacity by 130.1 mL at 52 weeks and reducing the risk of clinical worsening compared with a placebo.
