01:29 PM EDT, 09/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Health care stocks rose Thursday afternoon, with the NYSE Health Care Index up 1.4% and the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) adding 1.5%.

The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) climbed 1.5%.

In corporate news, Centene ( CNC ) shares jumped past 11% after the company said in a regulatory filing that its business and financial results through August are consistent with its full-year 2025 forecast.

Profusa ( PFSA ) shares surged 79% after it said Thursday it is using Nvidia (NVDA) technology to build an AI-driven physician portal for continuous biochemistry monitoring.

GRI Bio ( GRI ) shares rallied 41% after it said Thursday that interim data from its phase 2a study of GRI-0621 in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis showed no decline in lung function at six weeks.

Novo Nordisk's ( NVO ) office-based employees will be required to return to the workplace five days a week, Bloomberg reported, citing earlier reports from Danish newspapers Borsen and Finans. Novo shares were down 0.9%.
