ATAI Life Sciences ( ATAI ) shares were up more than 24% after the company and Beckley Psytech said their phase 2b trial of BPL-003, which is intended for patients with treatment-resistant depression, met primary and all secondary endpoints. Separately, the company said it will raise $50 million in a private placement of about 18.3 million ordinary shares.
Adagene ( ADAG ) shares were up more than 5% after the company said Sanofi ( SNY ) has agreed to make a strategic investment of up to $25 million in Adagene ( ADAG ).
Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) 's top executives did not heed internal warnings that the company was not fully prepared for the launch of its weight loss drug Wegovy in the US, Reuters reported, citing six former employees. Shares of Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) were 1% lower premarket.
