Sector Update: Health Care Stocks Steady Pre-Bell Wednesday

09:17 AM EDT, 08/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Health care stocks were steady pre-bell Wednesday as the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) was inactive and the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLV ) was marginally advancing recently.

Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) stock was down 4% after the obesity drugmaker lowered its 2025 sales growth guidance.

BeOne Medicines ( ONC ) shares were up more than 4% after the company posted higher Q2 adjusted earnings and revenue, and raised its 2025 revenue outlook.

LivaNova ( LIVN ) shares were up more than 7% after the company reported higher Q2 adjusted earnings and revenue, and raised its 2025 outlook.
