03:25 PM EDT, 05/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were mixed in late Wednesday afternoon trading with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) rising 0.3% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) decreasing 0.2%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index eased 0.2%.

In corporate news, Arista Networks ( ANET ) shares rose 5.8%. The company late Tuesday posted stronger-than-expected Q1 results with gains in both product and service revenue.
