01:29 PM EDT, 05/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were mixed Friday afternoon, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) rising 0.2% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) down 1%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index added 0.8%.

In corporate news, Akamai ( AKAM ) Q1 revenue fell short of Wall Street's estimates, dragged down by weakness in content delivery solutions. The company late Thursday also offered a downbeat Q2 outlook. Its shares sank nearly 11%.
