The Philadelphia Semiconductor index rose 1.4%.

In corporate news, Snowflake (SNOW) plans to close its investigation into a cyberattack that targeted as many as 165 customers, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing an interview with Chief Information Security Officer Brad Jones. Snowflake shares were falling 3%.
