03:39 PM EDT, 06/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were higher in late Monday afternoon trading, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) adding 1.8% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) up 0.6%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index rose 1.7%.

In corporate news, Autodesk ( ADSK ) shareholder Starboard Value said Monday that it plans to sue Autodesk ( ADSK ) and its board for allegedly failing to disclose material accounting and disclosure issues. Autodesk ( ADSK ) shares jumped 7.1%.
