03:36 PM EDT, 08/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were mixed late Friday afternoon, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) rising 0.6% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) decreasing 0.3%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index eased 0.1%.

In corporate news, Iteris ( ITI ) shares jumped more than 63% after the company said Friday it agreed to be acquired by Almaviva in an all-cash deal valuing Iteris ( ITI ) at about $335 million.
