The Philadelphia Semiconductor index shed 0.5%.

In corporate news, Elastic (ESTC) shares surged 14%, a day after the company reported fiscal Q2 results exceeded consensus forecasts and projected net income and revenue for the current quarter and fiscal 2025 above estimates.
