01:33 PM EDT, 05/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were mixed Wednesday afternoon, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) shedding 0.7%.
The Philadelphia Semiconductor index added 0.1%.
In sector news, Nvidia's ( NVDA ) fiscal Q1 earnings are due after the bell on Wednesday. Although AI demand around the company's Blackwell GPU microarchitecture is significantly higher than its supply, investors will be looking at the impact of President Donald Trump's export limit on the company's H20 chips and uncertainty related to business with China, Wedbush said in a note. Nvidia ( NVDA ) shares were up 0.5%.
In corporate news, Okta ( OKTA ) recorded stronger-than-expected fiscal Q1 results, while the cloud-based access management platform company reiterated its full-year revenue outlook and flagged potential risks related to an uncertain economic environment. Its shares were falling past 13%.
