01:27 PM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks rose Thursday afternoon with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) gaining 1.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) up 0.1%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index added 0.4%.

In corporate news, Oracle (ORCL) shares jumped 14%, a day after the company posted fiscal Q4 non-GAAP net income and revenue that topped Wall Street forecasts. The results and an increased revenue outlook are expected to help ease margin concerns, UBS Securities said.
