The Philadelphia Semiconductor index increased 0.1%.

In corporate news, Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE ) shares jumped past 12% and Juniper Networks ( JNPR ) shares popped 8.4% after the companies said Saturday that they have reached a deal with the US Department of Justice to resolve an antitrust lawsuit against Hewlett's $14 billion planned takeover of Juniper.
