03:17 PM EDT, 07/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were lower late Friday afternoon, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) down 0.3% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) shedding 1%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index was fractionally lower.

In corporate news, MicroCloud Hologram ( HOLO ) shares rose nearly 12% after it said Friday it bought up to $200 million in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency-related securities derivatives.
