01:20 PM EDT, 07/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were mixed Monday afternoon, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) decreasing 0.8%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index was shedding 0.6%.

In corporate news, Ansys ( ANSS ) shares rose 2.7% after Synopsis (SNPS) said has received all necessary regulatory approvals to proceed with its acquisition of the company. Synopsis shares were down 2.2%.
