01:08 PM EDT, 07/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks rose Tuesday afternoon with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) gaining 1.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) climbing 0.7%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index advanced 1.5%.

In corporate news, Nvidia ( NVDA ) shares jumped 4.1%. The company secured a "monster win" after US government assurances that licenses for the H20 graphics processing unit sales in China will be granted, Wedbush Securities said.
