01:07 PM EDT, 08/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were higher Monday afternoon, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) adding 0.6%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index increased 0.8%.

In corporate news, MeridianLink ( MLNK ) on Monday agreed to be acquired and taken private by funds advised by affiliates of investment firm Centerbridge Partners in an all-cash deal that values the company at about $2 billion. MeridianLink ( MLNK ) shares jumped past 24%.
