12:56 PM EDT, 09/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were mixed Wednesday afternoon with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) rising 0.2% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) shedding 0.8%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index decreased 0.9%.

In corporate news, Alphabet (GOOG) shares jumped 8.9% after several analysts increased their price targets on the stock following Tuesday's federal court ruling that the company's Google ( GOOG ) unit will not have to sell its Chrome browser to comply with antitrust rules.
