03:32 PM EDT, 09/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were mixed late Wednesday afternoon with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) edging up 0.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) shedding 1.2%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index decreased 0.8%.

In sector news, China will levy anti-dumping duties on certain cut-off shifted single-mode optical fiber from the US, effective Thursday, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing a statement from China's Commerce Ministry.

In corporate news, ServiceNow ( NOW ) signed a OneGov agreement with the US General Services Administration to modernize the federal government via AI-driven efficiencies, ServiceNow ( NOW ) shares added 0.6%.
