03:24 PM EDT, 09/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were mixed late Wednesday afternoon, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) down 0.3% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) adding 0.6%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index eased 0.2%.

In corporate news, Microsoft ( MSFT ) shares were up 0.1%. The company has signed a binding, five-year $6.2 billion agreement with Norwegian industrial investment company Aker and UK data center company Nscale to secure high-performance AI computing capacity in Norway, the companies said Wednesday.
