03:24 PM EDT, 09/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were mixed late Friday afternoon, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) rising 0.7% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) down 0.4%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index was shedding 0.8%.

In corporate news, Vuzix ( VUZI ) shares rose 2.5% after the company and display maker Saphlux said Friday they will collaborate to advance augmented reality display and optical solutions.
