The Philadelphia Semiconductor index decreased 0.8%.

In corporate news, Alphabet's (GOOG) Google ( GOOG ) said Thursday it launched AI-backed conversational platform Gemini Enterprise, which it said is built with Google's ( GOOG ) most advanced Gemini models. Alphabet shares were down 1.5%.
