The Philadelphia Semiconductor index was down 0.7%.

In corporate news, Alphabet's (GOOG) Google ( GOOG ) has revised its July proposal to propose additional changes to its search results in an effort to avoid a potential EU antitrust fine, Reuters reported. Alphabet shares added 0.8%.
