The Philadelphia Semiconductor index eased 0.1%.

In corporate news, Formula One Group, a subsidiary of Liberty Media (FWONA, FWONK, LLYVA, LLVYK), signed a five-year deal with Apple ( AAPL ) to be the exclusive US broadcaster of Formula 1 races. Apple ( AAPL ) shares rose 2.2%.
