03:30 PM EDT, 03/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks rose late Wednesday afternoon with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) increasing 0.3% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) rising 1.2%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index added 0.5%.

In corporate news, Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) Chief Executive Lisa Su plans to visit Korea next week and meet with Korean companies including Naver and Samsung Electronics about potential cooperation on data centers and other areas, according to a translation of a Wednesday report from the Maeil Business Newspaper.
