The Philadelphia Semiconductor index climbed 1.9%.

In corporate news, Microsoft ( MSFT )-backed (MSFT) OpenAI said on X that it is offering a new ChatGPT Pro tier for $100 per month. Also, OpenAI expects to report $2.5 billion in ad revenue this year and $100 billion by 2030, Axios reported. Microsoft ( MSFT ) shares were down 0.5%.
