03:00 PM EDT, 07/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were higher late Monday afternoon, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) rising 0.6% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) adding 0.8%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index rose 1.3%.

In corporate news, Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) shares gained 3.7% after the company said it expanded its partnership with Microsoft ( MSFT ) spanning AMD GPUs, CPUs, networking and software on Microsoft Azure. Microsoft ( MSFT ) shares added 1.7%.
