01:00 PM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were higher Thursday afternoon, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) rising 1.1% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) increasing 0.2%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index climbed 1.9%.

In corporate news, Larsen & Toubro has secured an order worth up to 150 billion Indian rupees ($1.57 billion) to deploy an Nvidia (NVDA) B300 AI Factory for Together AI at its Chennai data center campus, the company said Thursday. Separately, Nebius (NBIS) has signed an agreement with Vantage Data Centers to deploy AI infrastructure powered by Nvidia ( NVDA ) at Vantage's CWL1 data center campus in Wales, the companies said Thursday. Nvidia ( NVDA ) shares rose 0.4%.
