Broadcom ( AVGO ) rose past 13% after it reported an increase in fiscal Q2 earnings and sales while raising its revenue guidance for the full financial year.

Photronics ( PLAB ) was more than 4% lower after saying it placed Chief Administrative Officer Richelle Burr and a "named executive officer" on paid administrative leave while an internal review is underway regarding certain company transactions and other matters.

MicroStrategy ( MSTR ) said it delivered a notice of redemption for all 0.750% convertible senior notes due 2025 by July 15. MicroStrategy ( MSTR ) was down more than 1% pre-bell.
