09:08 AM EST, 12/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were advancing premarket Friday, with The Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) 1.1% higher and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) up 2.8%.

Broadcom ( AVGO ) shares were up past 17% after the company overnight reported higher fiscal Q4 non-GAAP net income and revenue in addition to raising its quarterly dividend by 11%.

SEALSQ ( LAES ) stock was 15% lower after the company said late Thursday that several institutional investors signed an agreement to purchase about 7.7 million of its shares at $1.30 apiece for gross proceeds of $10 million.

VEON (VEON) shares were down more than 2% after the company reported a decline in Q3 earnings.
