09:12 AM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were advancing premarket Tuesday with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) 1.8% higher and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) recently up 2.1%.

Salesforce ( CRM ) has agreed to acquire Informatica ( INFA ) for about $8 billion in cash including debt, the companies said. Shares of Informatica ( INFA ) were up more than 5% pre-bell.

Pony.ai (PONY) shares were up more than 5% after the company said it signed a memorandum of understanding with Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority to deploy its robotaxi fleet in the region.

WeRide ( WRD ) shares were more than 4% higher after the company said it is preparing to launch Robotaxi trial operations on Uber in Saudi Arabia in the coming months, with full commercial rollout expected by late 2025.
