The Philadelphia Semiconductor index declined 0.5%.

In corporate news, Texas Instruments ( TXN ) shares fell past 11%. The company issued a Q3 earnings outlook below market estimates at the midpoint amid uncertainties over tariffs and geopolitics, even though its Q2 results topped expectations.
