The Philadelphia Semiconductor index declined 0.3%.
In corporate news, CoStar ( CSGP ) is planning a bid worth 2.7 billion Australian dollars ($1.72 billion) for Australian property listings company Domain, Reuters reported. CoStar ( CSGP ) shares were falling 1.3%.
Alphabet's (GOOG) YouTube ( GOOG ) intends to offer a lower-priced "premium lite" service, providing ad-free viewing for podcasts and how-to clips, Bloomberg reported. Alphabet shares were easing 0.3%.
EPAM Systems ( EPAM ) shares fell 12% after it posted Q1 and 2025 non-GAAP EPS guidance that trailed FactSet analyst estimates.
Unity Software (U) shares surged 29% after it reported a Q4 net loss of $0.30 per diluted share, narrower than the loss of $0.66 a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.38.
