Sector Update: Tech Stocks Mixed Pre-Bell Tuesday

09:13 AM EDT, 08/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were mixed pre-bell Tuesday, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.5% and the iShares Expanded Tech Sector ETF ( IGM ) 0.6% lower recently.

Intel ( INTC ) CEO Lip-Bu Tan met with President Donald Trump, along with Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Trump said on Truth Social. Shares of Intel ( INTC ) were up more than 3% premarket.

BigBear.ai ( BBAI ) stock was down more than 31% after the company reported a wider Q2 net loss as revenue declined during the period. BigBear.ai ( BBAI ) also cut its 2025 revenue outlook.

Tencent Music Entertainment Group ( TME ) shares were up nearly 7% after the company posted higher Q2 non-IFRS earnings and revenue.
