09:02 AM EST, 02/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were mixed premarket Friday, with The Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) down 0.2% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) 2.5% higher.

Dell Technologies ( DELL ) shares were down more than 7% after the company issued Q1 and fiscal 2026 non-GAAP earnings outlook below analysts' expectations.

Entegris ( ENTG ) will replace Arcadium Lithium ( ARLTF ) in the S&P MidCap 400 index, effective prior to the opening of trading on March 6, S&P Dow Jones Indices said. Entegris ( ENTG ) stock was up past 5% premarket.

HP (HPQ) shares were down more than 4% after the company reported a decline in fiscal Q1 non-GAAP earnings. The company also said overnight it expects incremental workforce reductions between 1,000 to 2,000 employees as part of its ongoing restructuring plan.
