Sector Update: Tech Stocks Mixed Premarket Thursday

09:14 AM EDT, 05/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were mixed premarket Thursday as the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) was down 0.5% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) was 0.8% higher recently.

NetEase ( NTES ) shares rose past 8% after the company reported higher Q1 adjusted earnings and revenue.

Cisco Systems ( CSCO ) shares were up over 2% after the company reported higher fiscal Q3 non-GAAP earnings and revenue and raised its fiscal 2025 outlook.

NICE (NICE) shares fell by more than 1% even after the company reported higher Q1 non-GAAP earnings and revenue.
