09:06 AM EDT, 08/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were mixed premarket Tuesday, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) slightly lower and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) up 1.5%.

IBM ( IBM ) and AMD (AMD) said they are partnering to develop quantum-centric supercomputing architectures based on the combination of quantum and high-performance computing. AMD shares were up more than 2% pre-bell.

Daqo New Energy ( DQ ) stock was up more than 2% after the company reported a narrower fiscal Q2 adjusted loss.

Gilat Satellite Networks ( GILT ) shares were up more than 4% after the company said its Peruvian unit signed an additional $25 million agreement with the country's Pronatel telecommunications program to upgrade the broadband network in the Cusco region.
