Sector Update: Tech Stocks Move Higher Pre-Bell Thursday

09:09 AM EST, 01/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were edging higher pre-bell Thursday, with The Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) advancing 0.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) 1.1% higher.

Nokia ( NOK ) shares were up past 8% after the company reported higher Q4 comparable earnings and revenue.

STMicroelectronics ( STM ) shares were down more than 8% after the company reported lower Q4 earnings and net revenue.

Roper Technologies ( ROP ) shares were up over 2% after the company reported higher Q4 adjusted earnings and revenue.
