Sector Update: Tech Stocks Rise Pre-Bell Friday

09:21 AM EDT, 10/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were rising pre-bell Friday, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) slightly advancing and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) 0.6% higher.

Rumble (RUM) stock was up more than 12% after the company said it formed a partnership with artificial intelligence company Perplexity to support AI-powered search and content discoverability across its video platform.

Datavault AI ( DVLT ) shares were down more than 3% after the company reported the full conversion of certain long-term notes with an aggregate original face value of $13.3 million, strengthening its balance sheet.

Apple ( AAPL ) haas removed the ICEBlock application from its App Store following concerns raised by US government authorities, including the Department of Justice, several media outlets reported. Shares of Apple ( AAPL ) were down more than 1% premarket.
