Sector Update: Tech Stocks Rise Pre-Bell Wednesday

09:11 AM EST, 11/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were rising pre-bell Wednesday, with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.9% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) 1.6% higher.

STMicroelectronics ( STM ) shares were up more than 1% after chief executive officer Jean-Marc Chery said at a Morgan Stanley conference that he expects Q1 revenue to increase 20% compared with the previous year.

BILL Holdings ( BILL ) is considering a sale, news outlets reported, citing unnamed sources. The company is working with advisers on a potential sale after calculating that its shares are undervalued, Reuters reported. BILL Holdings ( BILL ) stock was up more than 11% premarket.

Riskified ( RSKD ) shares were up nearly 8% after the company posted higher Q3 adjusted earnings and revenue.
