Oracle (ORCL) is among a consortium of firms that would help TikTok to continue operations in the US, if the US and China finalize a framework deal, CBS News reported, citing sources with knowledge of the matter. Oracle shares were up more than 2% pre-bell.

Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) said it will invest 5 billion British pounds ($6.82 billion) in the UK over the next two years to support artificial intelligence developments. Alphabet shares were 0.5% higher pre-bell.

Lam Research ( LRCX ) shares were up 0.3% after the company and JSR said they signed a nonexclusive cross-licensing and collaboration deal to advance semiconductor manufacturing.
