The Philadelphia Semiconductor index shed 3.8%.
In corporate news, Salesforce ( CRM ) agreed to acquire Doti, an agentic enterprise search company, to strengthen its AI research hub in Israel. Salesforce ( CRM ) shares fell 2.1%.
RTX (RTX) shares fell 2.2% after the company said it expects a one-time, non-cash pension settlement charge of $300 million in Q4.
Cisco Systems' ( CSCO ) stronger-than-expected AI orders in fiscal Q1 represented a "real surprise," Morgan Stanley said, raising its price target on the stock to $82 from $77. Cisco ( CSCO ) shares rose 4.7%.
Bitdeer Technologies ( BTDR ) shares tumbled 20% after the company priced a $400 million private placement of 4% convertible senior notes due 2031.
