The market closed positive after the global markets recovered from the US-China trade tensions. The BSE Sensex closed at35,547 points, up by 260 points, while the NSE Nifty closed at 10,772 points. Reliance, IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Kotak Mahindra were the top Nifty gainers while UPL, HPCL, ONGC, HCL Tech and Bharti Infratel were the top Nifty losers of the session.

How did the market fare today?
The market extended gains in trade as it approached the second half of the trading session on Wednesday. The BSE Sensex was trading at 35,458 points while the NSE Nifty stood at 10, 754 points despite the US-China trade tensions.
Reliance, Vedanta, Zee Entertainment, Cipla and Axis Bank were the top Nifty gainers.
Reliance gained in trade after its wholly owned subsidiary, Reliance Jio came out with an offer of 126 GB 4G data for a period of 28 days at Rs 299.
While Vedanta continued to surge in trade after the company moved the Madras High Court to access its Tamil Nadu plant.
The aviation stocks, however, slipped after posting disappointing air traffic passenger numbers. The numbers, though went up, were at an eight-month low this month.
InterGlobe Aviation and Jet Airways lost four percent and two percent respectively. SpiceJet stocks slipped nearly a percent.
Besides, UPL, Coal India, HPCL, Dr Reddy's Labs and BPCL were the top Nifty losers.
The market recovered in the opening on Wednesday despite weak global cues, amid the US-China trade tensions. The BSE Sensex opened at 33,406 points, up by more than 100 points, while the NSE Nifty opened at 10,751 points.
