Skechers U.S.A Q4 Earnings, Sales Rise; Q1, 2025 Outlook Set -- Shares Fall After Hours

04:45 PM EST, 02/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Skechers U.S.A (SKX) reported Q4 earnings late Thursday of $0.65 per diluted share, up from $0.56 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.74.

Sales for the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose to $2.21 billion from $1.96 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.22 billion.

For Q1, the company expects EPS of $1.10 to $1.15 on sales of $2.40 billion to $2.43 billion.

The consensus is for $1.59 and $2.49 billion, respectively.

For 2025, Skechers projects EPS at $4.30 to $4.50 on sales of $9.70 billion to $9.80 billion. Analysts are looking for $4.87 and $9.88 billion, respectively.

The shares of Skechers were down past 12% in after-hours activity.

The Food Corporation of India (FCI) is deliberating strong quality controls and are proposing revision of specifications for food grains procurement. However, Agri Economist Devinder Sharma said that it would be difficult to implement these norms from April 1 when the official procurement begins. He said that the farmers will not have any time to take steps to ensure that the quality norms are adhered to.
