SMC Group's turnover growth has been better and above expectation: Chairman & MD C Aggarwal

Post SMC Global's re-listing on the bourses, Subhash C Aggarwal, chairman and MD of SMC Group, in an interview with CNBC-TV8’s Anu Sharma, said turnover growth of the company in Q4 is better than expected.

Talking about results, Aggarwal said, “Q3 which ends on December 31st 2020, we have published that results. Our revenue is very good, Rs 638 crore which is better than Q2 and Q1 and corresponding to Q3 of 2019."

"So it is much better, 9 percent revenue, if we take consolidated of 9 months the corresponding period it has increase by 9 percent and profit after tax (PAT) which is around Rs 67 crore is 268 percent higher than the corresponding period.”

On turnover growth in Q4, he said, “In general it is better and more than expectation.”

On market share, Aggarwal said it is around 2.4 percent so it is increasing a little bit, and year-on-year it is stable.
