MUMBAI, July 30 (Reuters) - STOCKS:
The benchmark BSE Sensex was up 0.17% at 77,780, while
the broader NSE Nifty 50 rose 0.14% to 24,286, after the
U.S. Federal Reserve left its key interest rate unchanged as
expected.
RUPEE:
The Indian rupee was little changed versus the U.S.
dollar at 95.7075, wedged between foreign banks' dollar sales,
importer hedging demand and higher U.S. bond yields.
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond was quoted at 100.85
rupees, with the yield up 2 bps at 6.8175%, after the Federal
Reserve's policy outcome clouded the outlook for U.S. interest
rates, while investors awaited a large debt auction on Friday
and cues on the domestic rate path.
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate was up
2.25 bps at 5.9525%, while the five-year swap rate
rose 4.5 bps to 6.45%.
CALL MONEY:
India's overnight call money rate was at 5.30%, and
the overnight TREPS rate was at 5.38%.
