06:36 AM EDT, 08/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The most-talked-about stocks in the Reddit ( RDDT ) subforum Wallstreetbets were mixed hours before Friday's opening bell.

UnitedHealth Group ( UNH ) advanced by 12.1% in premarket hours, reversing a 0.1% decline from the previous session. Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B) disclosed in a filing that it purchased over 5 million shares of UnitedHealth ( UNH ) in Q2.

Intel ( INTC ) rose by 3.6% pre-bell, after a 7.4% rise at Thursday's close. The Trump administration is discussing a government stake in Intel ( INTC ) to support the chipmaker's delayed Ohio manufacturing facility, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

Reddit ( RDDT ) was up 0.2% premarket, following a 3.7% increase from the previous session.

Applied Materials ( AMAT ) declined by 15% in pre-bell hours, following a 0.9% fall at Thursday's close. Applied Materials ( AMAT ) provided fiscal Q4 guidance below market expectations, overshadowing its fiscal Q3 earnings and revenue beats.

CoreWeave ( CRWV ) fell by 2.5% pre-bell, following a 15.5% fall at Thursday's close.

Opendoor Technologies ( OPEN ) was down 1% hours before market open, swinging from a 25.6% increase at Thursday's close.

Nvidia ( NVDA ) was 0.3% lower in premarket activity, reversing a 0.3% increase from Thursday's session.

Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) declined by 0.1% pre-bell, after a 1.8% fall from the previous session.
