Social Buzz: Wallstreetbets Stocks Mostly Lower Premarket Friday; BlackBerry, Super Micro Computer to Decline

06:56 AM EDT, 09/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The most-talked-about stocks in the Reddit subforum Wallstreetbets were mostly lower hours before Friday's opening bell.

Tesla (TSLA) advanced by 0.7% in pre-bell hours, swinnging from a 1.1% decline at Thursday's close.

Alibaba Group Holding ( BABA ) was up 1% premarket, following a 10.1% increase from the previous session.

AST SpaceMobile ( ASTS ) fell by 2.4% in pre-bell activity, following a 2.3% decline at Thursday's close.

BlackBerry (BB) was down almost 4% in premarket hours, swinging from a 6.3% increase at Thursday's close. BlackBerry reported a breakeven on non-GAAP basis in fiscal Q2, compared with a loss of $0.04 a year earlier.

Super Micro Computer ( SMCI ) was 1.6% lower hours before market open, extending losses after closing Thursday with a 12.2% fall.

Nvidia ( NVDA ) was down 1.1% premarket, swinging from a 0.4% increase from the previous session.

Costco Wholesale ( COST ) declined by 1.6% pre-bell, after a 0.8% fall at Thursday's close. Costco Wholesale ( COST ) reported fiscal Q4 earnings of $5.29 per diluted share, up from $4.86 a year earlier.

Micron Technology ( MU ) was down 0.5% in premarket hours, swinging from a 14.7% rise at Thursday's close.
