Social Buzz: Wallstreetbets Stocks Mostly Lower Premarket Thursday; Carvana to Advance, Robinhood Markets to Decline

07:30 AM EDT, 10/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The most-talked-about stocks in the Reddit ( RDDT ) subforum Wallstreetbets were mostly lower hours before Thursday's opening bell.

Carvana ( CVNA ) stock was up over 19% in premarket hours, swinging from a 0.7% decline from the previous session. Carvana ( CVNA ) reported Q3 earnings of $0.64 per diluted share, down from $3.60 a year earlier.

Robinhood Markets ( HOOD ) shares were 11% lower in pre-bell activity, reversing a 0.6% increase from the previous session. Robinhood Markets ( HOOD ) reported Q3 earnings of $0.17 per diluted share, swinging from a loss of $0.09 per share a year earlier.

Super Micro Computer ( SMCI ) stock was down 5.9% in premarket activity, extending losses after a nearly 33% fall from the previous session.

Meta Platforms ( META ) shares were 3.7% lower in pre-bell hours, following a 0.3% decline at Wednesday's close. Meta Platforms ( META ) reported higher Q3 diluted earnings and revenue, while adjusting its fiscal 2024 total expense forecast to $96 billion to $98 billion, compared with $96 billion to $99 billion set previously.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) stock was nearly 4% lower premarket, reversing a 0.1% increase at Wednesday's close. Microsoft ( MSFT ) reported fiscal Q1 earnings of $3.30 per diluted share, up from $2.99 a year earlier.

Trump Media & Technology Group ( DJT ) shares were 0.6% lower pre-bell, after closing Wednesday with a 22% fall.

Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) stock was down 1.3% hours before market open, following a nearly 11% fall from the previous session.

Reddit ( RDDT ) shares were 1.5% lower pre-bell, swinging from an almost 42% increase at Wednesday's close.
